Hello St. Jimmy's Families! We will be closing down this page on Sunday, July 6th. St. Jimmy's Jamboree is going to be fully under the Catholic Family Connection of Lancaster (CFCL) and will be changing our name The Saint Squad! We will continue to meet at St. John Neumann this summer. Our annual pilgrimage will be on Aug. 23rd - we'll be heading to St. Patrick's Cathedral and St. Catherine Laboure in Harrisburg for this Jubilee Year! Hope you are all having a blessed summer and see you at a Saint Squad meeting soon!

To prepare for the start of fall, we will have a Clothing Swap this Friday, September 22nd during St. Jimmy's. Please bring in any clothing your children have outgrown and find some new gems to take home with you!

On Sunday, Sept 24th at 5pm, Catholic Family Connection of Lancaster (CFCL) will be hosting a Family Holy Hour at St. James in Lititz followed by a potluck. Please see the flyer below for more details.

Come tour the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) classroom this Thursday (September 14th) during St. Jimmy's!

CGS is a Montessori program for children to develop a prayerful relationship with God through the use of sensory rich materials. The cost for the year for CGS is $50 per child or max $100 per family to offset the cost of materials.

The registration deadline for CGS is September 14th. You can register on the parish website at https://www.stjameslititz.org/religious-education under CGS for ages 3 and 4 (although up to age 6 is welcome). The first official class will be September 28th.

St. Jimmy's Jamboree is a Catholic playgroup that meets on alternating Thursdays and Fridays at St. James in Lititz. We are very excited to be offering Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) when St. Jimmy's falls on a Thursday! Come take a tour of the CGS classroom on September 14th during St. Jimmy's and register your child for this amazing Catholic Montessori program!

Join St. James' Knights of Columbus tomorrow for a Family Trivia Night from 6-8pm! The event will take place in St. James Hall and the doors will open at 5:30pm. There will be FREE drinks and popcorn with other food for sale!

Founder of the Salesians: St. John Bosco - Pray for us!

Inspired by Saint Francis de Sales, Saint John Bosco founded the Salesians to continue his work among boys. Then, joining forces with Mary Mazzarello, he helped found the Salesian Sisters. All this during a time when established religious communities in Italy were closing their doors.

St. Thomas Aquinas - Pray for us!

Saint Thomas Aquinas is well known for his writings, especially the "Summa Theologica." But he was far more than a philosopher/theologian. He was a devout man who wrote beautiful prayers and hymns. Perhaps the best known is the "Pange Lingua."
