The steps down to the garbage beach. It may seem like a small thing but it links the upper trails through the fern fields to the beach in an easy to use manner. I used it with Sally on Saturday morning to hit the beach looking for urchins and sand dollars at a very low tide.

A tribute. The couple symbolizes Thompson and Lois Clayton...Grampy and Grammy. The three girls playing below symbolizes the three daughters they had: Anne, Persis and Sally. The woodburned piece at the bottom is a quote from Grampy in a book he wrote titled 'A Maine Story' dealing with the life of he and his family.
