💧 Let’s keep up the good work, Little Elm! We’re seeing a recent increase in water use during the mornings and evenings. While our community is doing a great job conserving water, there are still simple ways we can all help.

🌱 Follow your designated watering day
💧 Avoid unnecessary water use when you can
💰 Save water and potentially save on your water bill!

Town of Little Elm water customers: Your watering day is based on your trash and recycling day.
Mustang Water Utilities customers: You currently have one designated watering day per week.
Check the schedule on their websites to find your watering day!

Atmos Energy crews will be conducting safety surveys in Little Elm and surrounding areas on Thursday, September 3, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Residents may see Atmos Energy-marked SUVs with flashing lights slowly driving through designated neighborhoods during these hours. The crews will be surveying the natural gas distribution system as part of Atmos Energy’s routine safety efforts.

In observance of Labor Day, Town of Little Elm administrative offices will be closed on Monday, September 7. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

There will be no changes or delays to residential trash collection services.

Please note the following department schedules:
• Library: Closed Monday, September 7
• Animal Services: Closed Monday, September 7
• Senior Center: Closed Monday, September 7
• The Rec™: Open Monday, September 7 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The Cove™: Open Monday, September 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

💧 Did you know you have a watering schedule? Little Elm’s seasonal watering schedule helps us conserve water, reduce waste and make the most of every drop, especially during the warmer months.

TRASH & RECYCLING DAY = LANDSCAPE WATERING DAY

• Water with sprinklers or irrigation systems up to twice a week, only when needed.
• No watering between 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Morning hours, around 2–8 a.m., are best.
• Check for leaks, broken sprinkler heads and overspray.
• Keep water off sidewalks, driveways and streets.
• Adjust your watering schedule after rainfall.
• Water when your landscape needs it, not just because it’s your watering day.
• Consider native or drought-tolerant plants.
• Keep sprinkler heads properly adjusted and working efficiently.
