We are half way through the week of the Ridgefield Park/ Little Ferry Jr. Police Academy program for this year. Over the past three days the recruits have already shown major improvements in physical fitness, discipline, and respect both for themselves and others. They are working hard and have had the opportunity to engage with various emergency services units including the Little Ferry and Ridgefield Park Fire Departments, Ridgefield Park EMS, Bergen County SWAT, Bergen County Fire Marshal, Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, Port Authority Police and the DEA. They also all became certified in American Red Cross hands only CPR and completed a self defense course.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of these organizations for helping to make our program outstanding for our recruits. We aren’t sure who is more exhausted at this point the wonderful instructors or the amazing recruits but there are two more days to go before graduation and we all plan on finishing strong!
