💚💛 Congratulations to Mrs. Lawler at Academy Elementary School, one of our Fall 2026 Teacher Grant recipients!

Her grant, Building Foundations for Success: Fine Motor, Critical Thinking, and Learning Readiness, will provide engaging, hands-on materials for first and second grade students, including students receiving special education services. These resources will help strengthen fine motor development, handwriting readiness, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while providing meaningful, screen-free learning opportunities.

Super excited to share our Good Neighbor Award recipient this month, Mrs Christa Wilson!!
She is the definition of a teacher who goes above and beyond. Her heart for her students, positive attitude, and dedication shine through in everything she does. We are so lucky to have her and couldn’t be more proud to see her recognized for all that she does! 💚💛🐝

Game Day Celebration for our hard working bumblebees!
Each class works to earn 100 Bee Bucks and when our entire campus reaches 3,000 Bee Bucks earned; we celebrate with a special school wide reward!
Students voted and the winning choice was GAME DAY!!

Our space-themed pep rally was OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🌎✨

Our Bees had a blast cheering, dancing, showing their school spirit, and getting pumped up for the big game! 💚💛

1. We have school tomorrow, Friday August 28th!

2. We will have the school spirit cart open tomorrow morning, in the office, from 7:15-7:40 ONLY

3. We will be going to the pep rally tomorrow!

If you’re someone who LOVES a good theme and an excuse to dress up, HERE ARE ALL THE DAYS TO LOOK FORWARD TO! 🎉💚💛

We’ve got the entire district gearing up for a fun-filled pep rally season, and we want everyone to join in! 🎊

October 17 is NOT a pep rally. 👀
There is Mini Bee Cheer Camp and other exciting activities happening that day, but we’ll share more details about October 17 later! Stay tuned! 📣

Get ready to BUZZ with school spirit! 🐝🎉

We will be attending the AHS Pep Rallies listed below! Here’s what you need to know:

🚌 Bus Departure: AES will leave at 9:20 AM
🏫 Return to AES: Approximately 11:00 AM

🍎 2nd Grade: When we return to campus, 2nd Grade will go straight to lunch.

🏢 Front Office: While we are away, Ms. Ybarra will be running the front office.

👋 Students Arriving Between 9:00–11:00 AM: Students who arrive during this time will stay on campus with Ms. Ybarra until everyone returns.

👕Students are encouraged to wear their school spirit shirts or dress as the pep rally theme!

🐝 Let’s bring the HIVE spirit and get ready to CHEER! 💚💛
