Since Early Alert Canines merged with us last year, Canine Companions medical alert dogs offer essential, life-saving assistance to people with diabetes. Hypoglycemia, a severe side effect of insulin therapy, can lead to serious medical issues such as coma or death. Early detection of dropping blood glucose levels is crucial.

Thank you to The Sociology and Criminology Association of Arkansas State University for inviting us to participate in their Sexual Assault Awareness event! We had the opportunity to meet lots of students and facility and tell them about PAWS. We also got to visit with the Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Thankful for every organization willing to highlight, educate and bring about discussion regarding one of the most under reported crimes.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. PAWS for Justice was honored to attend the Camp Robinson annual resource fair/lunch and learn. Paws is dedicated to be a resource for victims/survivors of sexual assault throughout the state of Arkansas.

Thank you to the Animal Welfare League HSV for allowing Fawn and Roxy to come today and discuss PAWS for Justice. Everyone was so kind and seeing Elvis was the highlight of their week!!

It's a great day for PAWS for Justice as we celebrate Roxy and Ari's graduation anniversary! Three years ago these two amazing dogs graduated from Canine Companions after being matched with Fawn and Rebecca. Since that time, these teams have served 276 victims of crime in meetings with prosecutors, trials, and various hearings. We are so proud of what they have accomplished, and how many lives they have been able to touch, in such a short amount of time!

We are grateful for every opportunity to provide comfort and support to survivors. Roxy was present for several meeting before court and during the trial. We are thankful for the Hot Spring County Prosecuting Attorney and their dedication to seeking justice.
