This article offers a great explanation on why it's time for a change in leadership. It describes how promises that were made were not kept by our current Little Rock Mayor and how current Little Rock citizens are disenfranchised.

"We remember back four years about this time. This column endorsed Frank Scott Jr. for mayor of Little Rock. He was a young comer, with promise and promises, and clearly had the leadership ability needed at the time.
It just hasn't worked out."

Little Rock needs new and better leadership. Mr. Scott could have a bright future in politics, but our city needs solutions today, not four more years from now. Read it here: https://bit.ly/3zvPrw5

You know what makes this year's Halloween even scarier? The realization that under our current Mayor, we're about to break another crime record. All this talk of improving our police presence and getting a handle on crime, but the numbers don't lie. We need a new mayor who is tougher on crime in our capital city.

The number of people killed in Little Rock exceeded the city's 2021 homicide toll this month, reaching 69 last week and leaving the possibility that the number of deaths will by year's end reach the deadly high of 76 recorded in 1993, when the city was embroiled in gang-and-drug-related violence.

Four years ago, Mayor Scott was elected based on his pledge to unify a divided Little Rock. 🤞 Four years later, Little Rock feels more divided than ever because of a lack of transparency and increased homicides. And now? He's saying he wants to right his wrongs. 🤷 We don't need more false pledges—we need REAL change and REAL promises kept. ✅ Vote for REAL progress in Little Rock when you go to the polls, not more of the same.

"The city is admitting liability[.]" That's right—an admission of illegally handling FOIA requests. More poor leadership. More lack of transparency. It's becoming more apparent almost daily the City of Little Rock needs new leadership in the Mayor's office. Read the full story here:

Our current Mayor claims to have made major impacts on education, but Little Rock schools still faces teacher shortages and a lack of funding. Although the city government has little control over education, it can still make a huge impact on the funding of local schools. Mayor Scott talks about the success of his Community Schools plan, but the rest of the school district still struggles. While citizens are glad to see LRSD back in local control, what's the next step? Where is the plan to help improve the future of our educators and schools?

KNOW THE REAL FACTS | A new ad from Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. claims he and his team recruited more than 8,000 jobs to Little Rock. Jobs have been scarce in the capital city, especially with the effects of the pandemic, so the idea of new jobs should be welcomed and celebrated—if it were true. 📊 In reality, these new job numbers are based in the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway MSA (metropolitan statistical area), which includes Faulkner, Grant, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski, and Saline Counties. Do the other cities' mayors in those counties give credit to Mayor Scott for bringing jobs to them? No, so let's not give credit where credit isn't due. It's time for truthful leadership in the Little Rock Mayor's office.

KNOW THE REAL FACTS | Recently, Mayor Scott claimed he hired and retained more officers than in the three years before his administration. However, the numbers just don’t add up. Here’s a quick timeline:

đź‘® Before Mayor Scott was in office, Little Rock hired 203 officers.
⚠️ One (1) month after Mayor Scott took office, LRPD has zero (0) vacancies.
â›” While Mayor Scott has been in office, Little Rock has hired 122 officers, and there are currently 79 vacancies.

That math results in an overall loss of 200 officers. They also mention an occupancy rate that is twice that of the national average—this is political spin. CPSM, the company hired by the City of Little Rock for the staffing study of LRPD, told the mayor and the Board of Directors during a recent presentation this average is not a standard and is not useful for real measurement. It’s clearly time for new and effective leadership in the Little Rock Mayor’s office.

According to a recent FBI study, Little Rock is currently the most dangerous city in the United States. Is this not embarrassing to our great city? We need a Mayor who is willing to take on the challenge of making our city safer. We cannot continue to live in fear. We deserve to feel safe in our own city. See more: https://bit.ly/3rImAjZ
