ACIC is proud to recognize two employees who serve on national boards that help shape criminal justice and information sharing policy across the country.

Deputy Director Rick Stallings currently serves in the Southern Working Group of the FBI Advisory Policy Board process and recently completed his term as Chair of the Southern Working Group. He also serves as Chair of the Security Access Subcommittee and participates in several additional subcommittees, including NCIC.

Tiffanie Ward represents Arkansas on the National Crime Prevention and Privacy Compact Council. She also participates in a couple taskforces.

Their work on these national bodies ensures Arkansas has a strong voice in discussions and decision making related to criminal justice information systems, policy, and privacy standards.

The attached photos are from recent meetings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and San Antonio, Texas. We appreciate their continued dedication and their representation of both ACIC and the State of Arkansas at the national level.

Earlier this month, the Officer Safety Task Force (OSTF) convened in Orlando, Florida, in advance of the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Advisory Policy Board meeting. The agenda focused on key initiatives aimed at enhancing officer safety nationwide.

The task force is composed of law enforcement professionals from across the country, along with members of the FBI CJIS team, who collaborate to improve safety-related policies and information-sharing systems.

Arkansas Crime Information Center Deputy Director Rick Stallings’ continued representation on the OSTF ensures that Arkansas perspectives are included in national discussions focused on enhancing officer safety within NCIC and related systems.
