East End Fire Department, Saline County, AR Volunteer Fire Department, Serving our community. The East End Fire Department is located in Saline County in Central Arkansas.

We provide fire protection and EMS services to 53 square miles of eastern Saline County. We are a volunteer organization that is supplemented by part time staffing Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and 7pm-5am.

Good Afternoon East Enders, The Judge is lifting the burn ban. Really good job by everyone during the ban we only had a few small instances of problems from it.
Just a reminder before we go all w***y nilly with the automatic matches, you can only burn leaves, sticks, limbs, yard waste. No trash, carpet, plastics, NONE of that kinda stuff can be burned. Please be mindful and careful.

🚨 BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR SALINE COUNTY 🚨

Effective immediately, Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has issued a countywide burn ban due to hazardous fire conditions.

Over the past week, Saline County has been closely monitoring conditions alongside our Office of Emergency Management and state partners. Dry conditions and elevated fire risk have created dangerous circumstances that strain local resources and increase the potential for wildfire spread.

🛑 No outdoor burning is allowed.
đź“ž Report any burning activity IMMEDIATELY.

Earlier this week, the Saline County Office of Emergency Management issued a notice urging residents to avoid burning due to these unsafe conditions.

The status of the burn ban will be monitored daily, with updates provided as conditions improve.

Good Saturday morning East Enders! Listen…. Wildfire risk is extremely high today(3/21/26) and tomorrow(3/22/26). Let’s just not burning anything next couple days. Saline County is currently beginning the process of assessing the impact of the recent winter storm. We are requesting the community’s assistance in documenting all structural collapses (residential, agricultural, or commercial) to help demonstrate the need for State assistance.

*1 or 2 clear photos showing the extent of the damage.
Vital Safety & Recovery Information:
Currently, there is NO individual or public financial assistance available. Reporting these incidents is a critical step in providing the "proof of impact" required for the Governor’s Office to request a formal disaster declaration. There will be a FORMAL Public Notice IF/WHEN Assistance becomes available.
Stay Out of Damaged Structures:
Do not enter buildings with partial collapses or sagging roofs. With temperatures remaining low, the weight of the ice continues to pose a high risk of secondary collapse.
