THANK YOU!!!!

Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our campaign over the last 6 months to make last night a reality. Whether you donated resources or time to the campaign - I appreciate you.

Thank you to those that met with me in groups or one on one as we canvassed different neighborhoods to share with me their hope and concerns for the LRSD.

Thank you to the teachers and administrators that transparently shared their perspectives, both positive and negative, with me to help guide my understanding of where the LRSD needs to go.

Thank you to Darcy Krupitsky and the kids for giving me the flexibility of time to spend countless hours going door to door on weekends and evenings.

I would also like to take a minute to thank Director Rose for his service to the board. He not only served in the early 2000's but stepped up again to serve over the last few years as well. I know that Director Rose cares deeply about the LRSD and I appreciate everything he has done to help make the district a better place for students. It takes a lot to offer oneself up for public service and I hope everyone takes a minute to thank him for his selfless service to the district.

And now....it is time to get to work. I look forward to working with the newly elected 7 member board and Dr. Wright, administrators and teachers to help take the LRSD to new heights. There is no question that we are moving in the right direction, but there is much work left to do. I thank everyone for entrusting me with this important role to help shape the future of the LRSD in a direction that continues to move us towards one goal - a better outcome for ALL students that attend the LRSD.

For those that I haven't personally met yet but would like to share their thoughts or concerns with me, please feel free to reach out. Your voice is important and as board members we can only help address the problems that we know about.
