The ARVA staff will work diligently to preserve the intended nature of the ARVA page. The school will be held harmless should a post containing comments or photos of an undesirable nature not be removed prior to the review by a visitor to the page. Participation in the page is completely optional, though we think it will be a helpful resource for you to stay informed and to connect with others from the ARVA community and to the larger K12 national community. By adding the “Arkansas Virtual Academy at K12” fan page to your Facebook account you are agreeing to the guidelines set forth-- that communication made electronically through Facebook will be used to provide information for school purposes and that comments made to the page will be treated with the same rules and responsibilities as indicated in the ARVA Student-Parent Handbook under Parent-Teacher Communication (pg. 19). I understand that any inappropriate comments, including cyberbullying, posted to Facebook will be punishable according to the handbook (pg. 10).
