Arkansas Fallen Firefighters' Memorial

Arkansas Fallen Firefighters' Memorial The Arkansas Fallen Firefighters' Memorial is located on the State Capitol Grounds. Unfortunately, some do not make it back home.

Over 18,000 firefighters protect the life, property, and natural beauty of the Great State of Arkansas. Arkansans depend on firefighters to answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Whether professional, volunteer, rural, or wild land the citizens of Arkansas rely on these men and women to be there in some of the worst times. From minor accidents, to fully involved fires, to nat

ural disasters, to teaching fire safety, firefighters work tirelessly to assist their community. From the first recorded Arkansas firefighter killed in the line of duty in Fort Smith, on April 2, 1889 there have been 105 men and women who have given their lives to help another. The Arkansas Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial is a place of remembrance and honor for the sacrifices of the firefighters and their families. These firefighters and their families paid a price for their dedication and sacrifice, they will not be forgotten.

The Manila Fire Department asks our community to keep one of our own, Firefighter Noah Holt, in your thoughts and prayers.

On Saturday, Noah was involved in a motorcycle accident and was flown to Regional One in Memphis for evaluation of possible serious facial injuries. At this time, Noah is in stable condition. He is very sore, bruised, and banged up, but he is awake, talking, and getting some much needed rest.

We are thankful for the care he is receiving and ask that you continue to pray for Noah as he begins the road to recovery.

Please also keep his family in your prayers during this time.

The Manila Fire Department stands with Noah and his family every step of the way.

One Team. One Fight.
