“PAgis is partnering with the Sustain Little Rock to map the heat island effect in the city. On August 19th, volunteers will use window-mounted sensors on vehicles to collect ground-level temperature data. Then NOAA will use the collected data to interpolate heat values across the city and generate a heat map of the ambient air temperature.
