The registration deadline for Hero Day is September 12th and we don’t want any future firefighters to miss out. This hands‑on day gives students the chance to explore fire trucks, try firefighter activities, learn safety skills, and meet the team who keeps our community safe. If your student plans to attend, please make sure to complete registration before the deadline.

We’re looking forward to a great day of learning, excitement, and community connection as we help inspire the next generation of firefighters.

The Little Rock Fire Department is proud to place three new fire engines into service: Engine 1, Engine 7, and Engine 8.

These new pumpers are part of an approximately $20 million investment in our fire service, strengthening our ability to protect Little Rock residents while providing our firefighters with modern, reliable equipment.

We are grateful to the City of Little Rock, city leadership, and our community for their continued investment in and support of the Little Rock Fire Department.

An investment in our fire service is an investment in the safety and future of Little Rock.
