Arkansas250 is proud to partner in America’s Potluck! We invite neighborhoods, churches, and community organizations across the state to come together on Sunday, July 5, to share a communal meal, build connections, and enjoy time with the people in your life. Your gathering can be an existing potluck where you add an America 250 touch, or a brand new event created just for the occasion.

On Tuesday, the Arkansas National Guard hosted the Arkansas250 Commission at Camp Robinson. Five commissioners and staff from ADE and ADPHT learned about the history of the militia, how it's related to Arkansas Post and how it evolved into the present day National Guard. Visitors to Camp Robinson were also treated to demonstrations on the Arkansas National Guard’s aviation equipment, capabilities and an orientation flight over Central Arkansas. The Arkansas National Guard is helping celebrate the semiquincentennial with flyovers, exhibits, and several celebratory flights over the state June 29-July 2nd.

Have you seen our exhibit, "Before Us, Beyond Us?" It's open to the public at the Old State House Museum from Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Sunday, 1 - 5 p.m.
