CALS Fletcher Library

CALS Fletcher Library Central AR Library System has 15 branches serving Pulaski & Perry counties. Patrons have a wide selection of adult and children's books as well as CDs and DVDs.

Fletcher Library offers patrons much more than traditional library fare; the facility received recognition from the Arkansas Institute for Architects. The 13,500-square-feet library opened in 1996 and provides access to public meeting rooms and programs for all ages.

We wanted to join in the chorus to honor and remember Dolly Parton, who's been the biggest champion of early childhood literacy. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is still running strong, sending thousands of books every month to children from ages 0-5 (excellent ones, too), all free of charge!

We have a Pulaski County Imagination Library affiliate and we'd love it if more parents took advantage of this fantastic service that Dolly Parton offered. We're currently out of paper registration forms at Fletcher, but here's the link to the Pulaski County Imagination Library page where you can sign up online: https://pcaril.org/ Your child will receive a free book every month until kindergarten! How cool is that?!

The Imagination Library was Dolly Parton's greatest joy and we'd love to keep it going in her memory! 📚💗

A little early, but here's what we've got planned for August at Fletcher! Summer vacation might be ending, but there's still plenty of fun to be had here, especially after school! Check out what we've got going on this month! 🍎⛱

Hello, Fletcher friends! If you have any littles that want (or need!) something to do after school, we have a very special program happening next Monday, May 11th!

Ms. Cook from Forest Park Elementary will be here to show us how to paint watercolor flowers. She'll be here from 4pm-6pm at Fletcher! And don't worry about feeling rushed --we close at 8pm on Mondays 😁
