Just after 0200 this morning LSFD responded to a well involved fire in a commercial building. LSFD, along with our 2nd alarm mutual aid companies, operated for several hours into the day before bringing the stubborn fire under control. A big thank you goes out to our EMS, PD, all mutual aid companies, and both the Red Bank and Monmouth County Fire Marshal's Offices.

In response to severe flash flooding in Ocean Twp today, our swift water rescue team, comprised of Little Silver Fire and EMS Department members, collaborated with multiple agencies to perform evacuations and rescues.

Today, students witnessed a mock crash designed to highlight the devastating consequences of impaired and distracted driving. Through a realistic simulation involving first responders, students saw firsthand how one poor decision can change lives forever.

As prom season approaches, we encourage everyone to make safe choices, plan ahead, and never drive under the influence. Thank you to all of the emergency responders, school staff, and volunteers who helped make this important educational event possible.
