🚨ATTENTION UTILITY BILL CUSTOMERS🚨
Utility bills will be a bit delayed this month as the city is in the process of getting information gathered to send with this billing.
The council has authorized the following changes:
1) Customers who are interested will be asked to provide an email to the city, allowing for electronic invoicing directly to your inbox. While this is not the required method of delivery, printing and postage costs continue to increase. Electronic delivery of invoices could save the city up to $250 per month!
2) The city has contracted with United Bank of Iowa to accept ACH payments of utility bills. If you are interested in this service, please fill out and return the ACH authorization form included with your water bill. NOTE: If you do opt for this service, it will not take effect until the next invoice cycle; you will still need to submit payment for your bill due September 20, 2026.
3) The city has also contracted with GovCard services. This service will allow for ACH and credit card payments initiated online by the customer. There will be a QR code included with your water bill you can use to get to the website should you be interested in using this service. NOTE: There is a convenience fee for customers opting to use this service.
Of course, you will continue to be able to pay your bill as you have been.
If you have any questions regarding these options, please email the city clerk at [email protected] or call 712-649-2211. If your phone call is not answered, please leave a message and your call will be returned. Please do not use Facebook Messenger to communicate business with the city.
Thank you for your patience as we work to provide these new services to you.
