One of these days I'm going to get to fly a helicopter. Got to hang out and meet lots of people at the Mercy Flight open house. The flight nurses provide critical care to patients in the darkest times.They are compassionate and calm during the most stressful situations. Thank you for all you do.

Sorry for the late post but dad thought planting pumpkins and sweet corn was more important.

Graduation day!!!! What a wonderful time. I learned so much throughout the week. I'm always still learning. I received a few certifications. I can't thank the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Crisis K9 team enough for all of their knowledge they shared with me. Congratulations to my fellow classmates as well. I'm sure you will all do wonderful things. The other teams were from Texas, Nebraska, Ohio and Kentucky.

Day 4. Got to hang out with the Columbus Mounted Division. At 1st I thought the horses wanted to play but they just wanted to work. Next up was lions, tigers, bears oh my. It was the last day of school for most of the elementary students so there was at least 3,000 kids. The only animal that was not excited we were there was the jaguars.

Man oh man day 3. So much fun and so many new things learned. We spent the morning at the special services division of the Sheriff's Office. We had a drone flying around us, Sheriff car with lights and sirens. The next stop was the Columbus Helicopter Unit. We had some cool pictures taken and got to see a helicopter in action up close. Last stop for the day was with the Columbus Underwater Search and Recovery Unit. It was my 1st boat ride and I loved it. The guy in the water, I wanted to jump in and play with him but they said he was working.

Day 2 was super busy. We reviewed what we went over on day 1. Next up was building our confidence on an obstacle course. We then went to a local school with about 2k students. I got lots of love. We went to lunch and believe it or not I stayed in my place and slept during the whole lunch. The last thing we did for the day was went to the Franklin County Coroner's Office. There were lots of smells and things that I may encounter in the future.

So my dad is slacking, but we are attending a training in OH so I could get certified. This is the facility where we are staying and where some of training is taking place. Orientation was good. We were told what the expectations were. It's going to be a long week.
