Today, June 17, 2026, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to reports of a large plume of black smoke in Scenic, Arizona. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a significant fire behind several homes, which had engulfed a minivan, two chicken coops, and several trees, with flames spreading to a travel trailer. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and completed overhaul operations. Sadly, approximately 80 chickens died in the fire. Mohave County Sheriff's is investigating the incident, and no injuries were reported. A reminder: BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT.

Today On 06/13/2026 at approximately 1:20 PM, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at Desert Skies RV Park. Firefighters/ Paramedics arrived to find a shed completely engulfed in flames, positioned outside between houses, with heat damage to the siding of two adjacent houses. With assistance from Mesquite Fire, the fire was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading to nearby homes. The homeowner, present during the incident, sustained no injuries. The fire's cause is currently under investigation.

Today early this morning, June 13, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported single-vehicle rollover near the TA Express Gas Station in Beaver Dam. Upon arrival, Beaver Dam Fire found the vehicle on its roof. The solo occupant self-extricated and refused transport to the hospital with no injuries reported. Law enforcement arrived to conduct a further investigation.

Today 6/12/2026, at approximately 1:30 am. Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported single vehicle that had lost control and crashed into the center divider going at a high rated speed, vehicle was located on I-15 Northbound MileMarker 14, in the Gorge. Mohave County Sheriff’s on scene. Solo Occupant states he was suicidal. Solo occupant in the vehicle was transported by Beaver Dam Fire’s Ambulance to St George Regional Hospital.

Today, June 10, 2026, at approximately 1:30 P.M., Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported single-vehicle rollover on I-15, Northbound, at MileMarker 29. Upon arrival, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue found the vehicle on its roof. One occupant was transported to St. George Regional Hospital via Gold Cross Ambulance. St. George Fire and Arizona DPS Trooper assisted on the scene. Unfortunately, a Dog companion in the vehicle was found deceased. The incident is currently under investigation.

Yesterday, On June 7, 2026, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported vehicle fire near Mile Marker 27 on northbound I-15. All occupants self-extracted prior to the arrival of fire department personnel. The driver reported recent brake service on the vehicle. Upon approaching the gorge, the driver's daughter detected an unusual odor, prompting the driver to notice smoke from the vehicle. St. George Fire and Arizona DPS units arrived on scene to provide assistance. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

On June 6, 2026, at approximately 11:20 AM, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue provided assistance to Clark County Fire in response to a reported travel trailer fire in Bunkerville, NV, Fire spreading into neighbor yards and structures were threatened. Mesquite Fire Rescue was on scene to provide support. Fortunately, no homes sustained damage or losses, and no injuries were reported.

Today Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle Vs guardrail incident on May 30, 2026, at approximately 2:45 PM, located on I-15 Southbound MileMarker 4,with the vehicle ending up in the median. Arizona DPS Trooper was present at the scene to investigate. The solo occupant was found seated in the vehicle, uninjured, and declined medical upon Beaver Dam Fire's arrival.

Today, May 29, 2026, at approximately 7:45 pm, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported single-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck on I-15 southbound at Mile Marker 5. Upon arrival, Beaver Dam Fire personnel found the single vehicle with significant front-end damage. The semi-truck driver, located about a quarter mile away, was unaware of the collision until flagged down by another driver. All parties involved declined medical. Arizona DPS Troopers on scene to investigate the incident further.

Today, May 28, 2026, at approximately 1:20 PM, Beaver Dam Fire Rescue responded to a reported motor home fire located off Fleet Street, near I-15, Mile Marker 11 in Desert Springs. Upon arrival, Beaver Dam Fire personnel discovered a flatbed trailer loaded with trash was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished. The owners of the flatbed trailer were not present at the scene. Arizona DPS Trooper and Mohave County Sheriff Officers are investigating. Unknown cause of the Fire. No injuries were reported.
