Littlestown Library, ACLS

Littlestown Library, ACLS Littlestown Library is a branch of the Adams County Public Library System. We serve the Littlestown community, ACLS patrons and the general public.

We connect people to opportunities and information that enrich their lives! Whatever information you're looking for, you can find it with the help of the Adams County Library System. We are your gateway for exploration. At the heart of all six branch locations are our librarians, who are here to help you connect with the information you need, in the format you want, such as:

- Books, movies,

and music in traditional, hard-copy formats
- Books, movies, and music in online, digital formats
- Online databases for in-depth research
- Public computers, internet access, and computer classes
- Story time, activities, and learning labs for children
- Meeting rooms and collaborative spaces

As your library's materials have moved from card catalogs to online databases, from print to microfilm to digital publications, its community role has shifted, too. The library that once served as an oasis of information is now here to help you navigate today's deep, shifting sea of available resources. While our mission will always include providing information, we are now expanding to provide access to new technologies, space for creation and collaboration, and enhanced programs for learning and exploration.

Flag Day, observed annually on June 14, commemorates the adoption of the United States flag by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. The day honors the history, symbolism, and ideals represented by the American flag and recognizes its role as a national symbol of unity and freedom. Communities across the country celebrate through flag-raising ceremonies, educational programs, patriotic displays, and civic events that encourage reflection on the nation’s history.
