Denver Water is asking customers to reduce their total water use (outdoors and indoors) by at least 20%, which will help stretch our water supplies and reduce the likelihood of increasing restrictions later this summer.

Mandatory outdoor watering is restricted to two days per week on assigned days and only allowed before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

🚨 Stage 1 Drought Restrictions Are in Effect 🚨

💧 Outdoor watering is limited to TWO days per week:
✔️ Water only before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

✔️ Repair leaking sprinkler systems within 10 days
✔️ Keep water off sidewalks and streets

📅 Watering Schedule:

Drinking Water Week is an opportunity to reflect on how water reaches our communities. Much of our drinking water originates as mountain snowpack and this year the state is experiencing significant drought conditions driven by low snowpack, below-average precipitation, and warmer-than-normal temperatures.

The district joins in celebrating Drinking Water Week, an annual observance led by the American Water Works Association
