From September 9–12, The Honor Summit will illuminate two powerful beams of light into the night sky from the summit of Mount Washington. The tribute marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11, honoring those that passed, including veterans, firefighters, and first responders.

We’ll be offering guided tours to the summit each evening so guests can experience this special tribute from 6,288 feet.

🍦🎶 A Little Taste of Summer Fun at Riverglen! 🎶🍦

What a sweet afternoon! Our Ice Cream Social was packed with 50’s Malt Shop beats, dancing, temporary tattoos, slap bracelets, and—of course—LOTS of ice cream! 💃🕺🍨

And while we may not have an ice cream truck in town, we decided to make our own! 🚚🍦 Our Executive Director; Katie and her daughter Eliza turned a dream into reality and they absolutely knocked it out of the park!

A HUGE shout-out to our incredible ice cream supplier, Super Secret Ice Cream! 🤫🍦 We all know summer is a busy time for an ice cream shop, but when they heard our residents were craving some ice cream, they made it happen! We are so grateful for helping make today extra special. And we couldn’t leave out our non-dairy friends! We had sorbet available so no one felt left out!

We had SO much fun that we’re already thinking… why not make this a monthly event?! 😍

Days like today make our hearts feel so full that we get to work at such a happy place and help to provide so much fun to our amazing residents! Thank you to everyone who helped make this amazing event happen. What an incredible day!

On Tuesday, August 11th, we had a special musician, Ryan on the accordion. We was awesome and the residents really enjoyed something new! He also sang and plays the piano!
