Collegiate Academy of Colorado A tuition-free PK-12 Jeffco Public School focused on problem-based learning and character education.

CAC was founded in 1994 as a community-run charter school for grades 7-12. In 1999, CAC relocated to our current location and added grades K-6. We also re-defined our focus to target college-bound students who were not finding success in traditional schools. Today, CAC continues to operate as a college preparatory K-12 school, using the Core Knowledge curricular framework in K-6, blending Core Kno

wledge with our Pre-AP program in grades 7-8, and culminating in a strong and diverse AP and Honors program in grades 9-12. CAC balances rigorous academic expectations of our students with small class sizes and individualized attention to help students meet and exceed our academic standards as well as their personal goals.

Our elementary wolves had their first Paw Track Assembly of the year! Students met the full staff, learned about our school pride, and ended the fun with a dance off. 🤩🪩

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Annual Back to School BBQ yesterday, from the families who came out, the staff who helped make it happen, and everyone who contributed their time, food, and support.

Hello CAC families,

We invite all PK-12 families to our Back to School BBQ this Thursday, 8/27 from 5-6:30pm. Join us on the south patio outside of the cafeteria (by the carpool lane) for a full BBQ meal and the opportunity to meet the CAC community. All students must be accompanied by an adult to attend.

Before the BBQ, PK-8th grade students are invited to watch the movie The Incredibles after school from 3-5pm in the gym. They must have a signed permission form to attend. All students must be picked up by a guardian from the gym in order to be dismissed to the BBQ. Permission slips will be sent home with students today, or they will be available at the elementary front desk. PK families, please see the permission slip for more information.

Looking to get a head start on volunteer hours? We are looking for donations! Please click on the link below for the sign up list of items. Please drop off items to either front desk by Wednesday, 8/26 at 3pm.

The wolves are back! 🐺

Our teachers and staff returned this week and got a great welcome back to school. With the introduction of the new school year, we are excited to announce this year’s theme:

ROOTED TOGETHER; GROWING FOREVER 🌳

We are also less than one week away from Back to School/Meet your Teacher Night, where students can drop off all school supplies, find their classrooms, and meet their teachers. The fun continues afterwards with an ice cream social. Join us Wednesday night from 5-6:30pm!

School starts for 7-12th graders on Thursday, 8/20 and for PK-6th graders on Friday, 8/21.

Have a great last weekend of summer break, wolves!
