The Clerk and Recorder’s Office is one of the busiest County offices, and comprises 120 employees and four offices throughout the county. Our services include: Motor Vehicle, Driver's License, Elections, Recording, Passports, Marriage/Civil Union Licenses, and Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. Clerk and Recorder Matt Crane was elected in November 2014 and is serving his first four-year term.

With assistance from a bipartisan testing board, we successfully tested ballot-counting equipment yesterday. Test ballots were hand-marked and hand-counted, then run through tabulators to compare the machine and hand counts. They matched perfectly, so we know our tabulators are counting votes accurately.
