We've received a request from a serviceman who has lost his leg in the line of duty. While monetary donations to his cause are always welcomed, what we will be reaching out to our friends and donors for in the next few weeks will be local volunteer opportunities in the Parker, Colorado area. He lost his left leg, and is able to drive, but there are many other things that the family needs help with. I will have more details soon, but some things to think about that could be of great help: able bodied people to help with yard work; moral support from either active-duty servicemen or vets who have been through similar experiences; family members of servicemen who can also be moral support to the family. More specific info to come! Thanks for your support.
