What an exciting week it's been at KCMS! From the Ladybooks making history by advancing to the district finals for Battle of the Books, where they showcased their incredible reading skills and teamwork, to the thrilling Dragster racing competition held in the library, which brought out the inner engineer in our students. It's been a week filled with academic achievements, friendly rivalries, and unforgettable memories. We couldn't be prouder of our students and all their accomplishments! 🎉📚💨

All Jeffco Public Schools buildings and facilities will be closed on Wednesday, May 6, due to continuous snowfall expected through midday tomorrow and widespread power outages across the district.
All childcare programs, after-school activities and meetings scheduled to be in Jeffco Public Schools facilities are canceled.

Tissue Box Challenge Update

Our Spartan community is incredible! 314 boxes of tissues were donated in the last two weeks. In first place and winning the donut party is Ms. Purcell's Advisement with 39 boxes. Thank you to all our families that donated. We have more than enough tissue to make it through the year and start next year off strong!

Yesterday, our 7th graders embarked on an unforgettable adventure during their Internal Field Trip, where they got to experience the vibrant rhythms and rich cultural heritage of African Drumming! They had the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of this traditional art form, while also getting hands-on experience playing the drums and exploring the different sounds and beats
