DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this Saturday! If you have expired or unused medications sitting in your medicine cabinet, now is the time to clear them out safely.

💊 Bring your eligible medications to our collection site instead of throwing them in the trash or flushing them down the toilet.

Proper disposal helps prevent medication misuse and keeps potentially harmful substances out of our water supply.

Now’s the time to check your medicine cabinets for any unused or expired medications that need to go.

Join the Live Oak Police Department on Oct 24 and help keep medications out of the wrong hands and our community safe.

What a night! A huge thank you to every neighborhood, HOA, and apartment community that participated in National Night Out 2026. We loved seeing neighbors come together, getting to meet so many of you, and spending the evening out in the community. 💙

And a special thank you to our Live Oak Police officers, firefighters, and City staff who took the time to visit parties throughout the city and be part of the evening.

National Night Out is about building connections, getting to know one another, and making our community stronger and Live Oak showed up! 👏

This month, the Live Oak Police Department is showing our support for those affected by breast cancer and helping spread awareness throughout our community. 💗

Whether it’s a little more pink around the department or our big pink ribbon displayed at the PD, these small reminders are a way to recognize the survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and support those currently fighting.
