🦌 Don’t Be a Fawn Napper 🦌

If you see a baby deer laying alone, please leave it there! Mama deer often leave their fawns hidden while they go find food and return when they are done eating. Most fawns are NOT abandoned.

Their spots and lack of scent help protect them from predators, so the best thing you can do is:
🦌 Keep your distance
🦌 Don’t touch or move them
🦌 Keep pets away

Unless the fawn is clearly injured or the mother is confirmed dead, it does not need rescuing.

Prince Milo has claimed his throne… and our hearts forever 💙
His reign includes treats on demand, couch cuddles, and endless love—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you to the wonderful family that came in and chose Milo as the newest member of their family!

For two weeks, we attempted to contain Jordan, but she would slip away from us each time. We set multiple traps and she would avoid them for days until finally she gave in. Once back at the shelter, we learned Jordan was a true couch potato and must have been exhausted, spending weeks, maybe even months, fending for herself. Jordan instantly melted into our laps and hearts with her soulful eyes and cuddle bug demeanor. We just knew we had to find the perfect family she deserved. This wonderful woman and her loving husband were on the lookout for a new pup to love after the senior dog they adopted from us had passed. Now Jordan will live the rest of her days comfortably in a loving home with a fantastic family. We couldn't be happier that they chose Jordan.
