Want to learn more about how your utilities revenues are used? Attend your city's budget workshops. Do you want your infrastructure repaired and your roads paved? I am only 20% of your Council, meaning 1 vote of 5, I can't do it by myself. If you are concerned about how your tax dollars are spent, then come to the workshops and hold your Council accountable. Tell them what you want.

Today was a special day. I had the opportunity to thank the Suwannee County NAACP President, Marcus Allen, and the Executive Board for the recognition given in my absence at the Annual Juneteenth Celebration. Being presented with the President's Appreciation Award is such an honor. I am lucky to work alongside this great group of people standing and fighting for social justice, economic equality, and the elimination of racial discrimination.

I wake up everyday excited to work for the residents of District 2 and the citizens of Live Oak. I am working hard to clean up our district, but I need your help.

Illegal dumping and improper disposal of trash is a problem that is occurring way too often. Dumping trash on private or city property shows a lack of respect for our community. Please dispose of your garbage and trash the correct way.

If you have questions about the disposal of your trash, call 386-362-2276.

Let's all work together to put trash in its proper place. A clean city is a healthy city!

With a heart full of gratitude, I am truly humbled and honored to have been elected Chair of the Live Oak City Council.

First and foremost, I give all glory and honor to God. His grace, wisdom, and faithfulness have guided every step of this journey, and I recognize that this opportunity to serve is a blessing and a responsibility.

To my fellow Council Members, thank you for the confidence and trust you have placed in me. I am grateful for your support, and I look forward to working together with respect, unity, and a shared commitment to serving our community.

To the citizens of Live Oak, thank you for your continued faith, encouragement, and support. It is a privilege to serve you, and I remain committed to leading with integrity, compassion, transparency, and a servant's heart.

As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." I humbly ask for your prayers as I embrace this new responsibility.

Together, with God's guidance, let us continue building a stronger, more united, and brighter future for the City of Live Oak.
