Wildlife is also in need of water. Here is a way you can provide water through your air conditioning unit, either whole house, split unit or window unit. Hang or place on a pedestal a dish (I use a glass pie pan) under your condensation pipe or unit. This way you have water for birds. And it's pretty low maintenance. I have a pie plate hung under the condensation pipe at our AC unit. Birds love and are attracted to the drip of the water.
