A heartfelt thank you to Sandia National Labs for their generous grant in support of Tri-Valley Haven’s Food Pantry.

Every day, our pantry serves more than 200 individuals and families facing food insecurity across our community. This funding will help ensure that children, seniors, families and unhoused neighbors have access to fresh and nutritious food and compassionate support when they need it most.

We are deeply grateful for partners like Sandia National Laboratories who help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. Together, we are building a stronger and more caring community.

In observance of Memorial Day, Tri-Valley Haven will be closed on Monday, May 25.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country and reflect with gratitude on their sacrifice.

Our offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26, and our crisis line will remain open 24/7 at 1-800-884-8119. We wish everyone a safe and peaceful holiday.

Only $8,000 left to go. 💙

For nearly 50 years, Tri-Valley Haven has provided safety, hope, and healing for families fleeing abuse through Shiloh — the only confidential domestic violence shelter in our area, and the only one that welcomes teenage boys as part of families in crisis.

After decades of serving survivors, the original shelter reached the end of its life and had to be demolished. Now, construction is underway to rebuild a stronger, safer shelter for the next generation of families seeking refuge.

Thanks to the incredible partnership of CHEF and our community, we are almost at the finish line of The Shiloh Project campaign. CHEF is matching every donation by 50%, helping every dollar go even further toward reopening these life-saving doors.

Shiloh is more than a building. It is safety in someone’s darkest moment. It is stability for children. It is a place where healing can begin.

Help us close the final gap and bring Shiloh one step closer to reopening. Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign and believed in this mission. ✨

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of former Tri-Valley Haven Executive Director, Ann King, on May 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

For 25 years, Ann led Tri-Valley Haven with compassion, courage, and unwavering dedication to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to families facing homelessness and poverty. Her legacy will continue to inspire and shape our community for generations.

Join us in celebrating Ann’s incredible life on Saturday, June 6 at 11 AM at the Tri-Valley Haven Community Building backyard, 3663 Pacific Avenue, Livermore.

May is Tri-Valley Haven’s Volunteer Appreciation Month, and last week we had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and care to support our mission at our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. 💙

Our volunteers play an essential role in everything we do. From helping in our food pantry, to supporting events, assisting with administrative tasks, and stepping in wherever there is a need.

Volunteering is more than giving time. It is choosing to show up for others with compassion, kindness, and consistency. The care our volunteers bring into every space truly makes a difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve each day.

We are so grateful for every volunteer who continues to stand alongside Tri-Valley Haven and support our community in meaningful ways. Thank you for all that you do. ✨

Looking back on a powerful moment from last month... 🧵✨

Denim Day is a vital reminder that clothing is never an excuse for harm. It’s about standing together, challenging harmful myths, and supporting survivors with dignity, respect, and belief.

We are still so grateful for the invitation to the CalVCB board meeting recently to share more about the work we do at Tri-Valley Haven. The CalVCB team was incredibly welcoming, and their generosity truly stood out, they donated 250 pieces of denim that will go directly to the individuals and families we serve.

Such a meaningful gesture. We deeply appreciate their support and the vital work they continue to do for victims of crime. Proud to partner in this mission. 🤝💙
