Arroyo Seco Elementary is a California Distinguished Public Elementary School within the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. Our school serves grades kindergarten through fifth with a tradition of excellence. This page is overseen by the ASPTA board and welcome any input and thoughts to make the school year the best yet!

A reminder that there are only a few days left to get those Spirit Wear orders in! With new designs to choose from for both adults and children, make sure you are stocked and ready for spirit days on Friday! The shop will be closing on August 31st at 8am, and we will not be able to place any more orders after this time. Show your C**t pride by getting those orders in now!

Don’t forget! Our first Parent Teacher Association Meeting will be held in the MPR TOMORROW night at 7p!

PTA isn’t just for parents! Students, teachers, staff, and grandparents can also join - members can come to meetings if they’re able to, but it’s not at all required! With an PTA membership, you can bring your ideas to the group of people who can help take them to the next level. You can see our budget, future plans/projects, vote on important matters, and build relationships with key players at our school.

Everything we do is for our students, families, teachers and campus - and we would be THRILLED to welcome you to the group 💙 An active TOTEM membership is required to attend the meetings/vote.

COME ONE, COME ALL!

We are ready to welcome our students and families to kick off the school year in Seco style! Please join us for our annual back-to-school carnival on Friday, August 28th! Seco teachers will host some super fun game booths, and there will be a variety of inflatables and food trucks, as well as face painters and a mini golf course. Tickets for each game/activity will be $1/each, and as always, ALL ticket sales go back to our teachers and classrooms 🎟️

This is your annual reminder to submit your Volunteer Application on LJUSD’s website as soon as possible! Applications can sometimes take a while to process, so the sooner the better. You’ll need a copy of your government issued ID/drivers license, a copy of your TB test results.

See LVJUSD website for more info on extended clearance volunteer requirements.

- come get your student(s) back to school packets (class assignments)
- order new spirit wear
- check out some incredible improvements to the school

*You must complete the Annual Student Update Forms process before your student can receive class schedules and start school. You should have received an email from PowerSchool Enrollment with this info. Computers will be available on Thursday if you do not have internet/computer access at home.

If you are not able to pick up on Thursday, please come to the school office anytime afterward and before the first day of school to pick it up. Classroom assignments won’t be distributed early.
