Happy National Notary Day!
I'll share why I became a notary.
Around 2019, before the peak of COVID, I decided to try my luck with the military (Army). I was so proud of myself! I reached so many personal goals and milestones while getting ready to make the one of the most important decisions in my life. After swearing in, I knew that it was my calling, no matter the sacrifices I was making.
Two weeks after swearing in I was told that I wasn't going to be able to go to basic, all of the sacrifices I had made was for nothing and my hopes and dreams were shattered. With no reason given I was suppose to continue with life and keep the ball rolling. I had quit my job, lost an opportunity to become a new mom again and lost valuable energy chasing that goal of mine. With all of that lost my mental health took a toll. It was like spilting from a reality I was so certain to have in my mind.
It took awhile to move on, I felt lost. One night during my lost phase I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and to see how I can make people's dreams a reality. How can I help someone achieve home ownership, How can I help someone commit to their love one and how can I help my community with problems with identity. So I became a notary and thus Inscribe Notaries and Services was born.
Helping others achieve their life time goals makes it worth while and helped me realize that we're all dreamers. And when one dream doesn't work out, we create a dozen more dreams that will work out.
