Every construction tour tells a little more of the Gateway Wellness Center story.

This week, visitors had the opportunity to see the progress firsthand, learn about upcoming construction milestones, and ask questions about the future facility.

Recent highlights include:

• Installation of the two-story waterslide has begun.

• Future fitness and wellness spaces are beginning to take shape.

• Community feedback is helping guide fitness equipment selection before purchases are finalized.

While you're at it, we'd also appreciate your input through our Fitness Equipment & Wellness Spaces Survey. Your feedback will help shape the Gateway Wellness Center before it opens.

Welcome to the official Gateway Wellness Center page!

We're glad you're here and excited to share the journey as Livingston's new community recreation and wellness center takes shape.

If you're new to this page and didn't previously follow the Livingston Recreation Department, we don't want you to miss an opportunity to help shape the future of the Gateway Wellness Center.

We're currently gathering community feedback on:
• Fitness equipment
• Exercise spaces
• Group fitness classes
• Wellness programs
• Preferred days and times of use

What fitness equipment would you like to see? Which wellness programs interest you? When would you most likely use the facility?

As we prepare for the Gateway Wellness Center to open in early 2027, we're asking for community input to help guide fitness equipment selection, exercise spaces, wellness programming, and operating hours.

The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete and includes photos to help identify different types of equipment. You don't need to be a fitness expert to participate—we want to hear from residents of all ages, abilities, and activity levels.

A place for families to gather, play, and make memories—year-round.

The Gateway Wellness Center's recreation pool is being designed for everyone, whether you're introducing a young child to the water, enjoying family swim, or simply looking for a fun way to stay active during the winter months.

The recreation pool will include features designed for play, relaxation, and learning, creating opportunities for residents of all ages to enjoy the water together.

Over the coming months, we'll continue highlighting the spaces that will make the Gateway Wellness Center a place for recreation, wellness, and community connection.

We're excited to share the journey as Livingston's new community recreation, aquatic, and wellness destination comes to life.

Over the coming months, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at construction progress, facility features, community tours, upcoming programs, employment opportunities, membership information, and the many ways this new facility will serve residents of all ages.

The Gateway Wellness Center is being built to bring our community together through recreation, wellness, aquatics, fitness, and lifelong learning, and we can't wait to welcome you through the doors.
