If you have not signed up for the UCEMC Cares grant call your local electric office today! It is so simple no paperwork needed but you must speak to a representative in order to be signed up for the program! Every dollar stays here locally and goes back into our community!

All 4th graders in Overton County will be given a life jacket to take home and use at our upcoming farm safety day due to this grant!

Whole-farm planning remains the centerpiece of our approach, ensuring that all resource concerns like soil, water, and overall natural vitality are addressed together rather than in isolation.

As always we would like to thank the UCEMC cares program for awarding the Progressive Ag safety day with a 1,050.00 grant. With this grant we will be able to provide a safety item for all 4th graders to take home and use during our 2026 farm safety day.

UCEMC cares is a state-chartered, non profit corporation that operates apart from Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation. Members who choose to participate in the Cares program “round up” their monthly electric bill to the nearest dollar, with the average member donating $6 a year or less.
