📚💙 **LIBBY APP UPDATE — PLEASE READ!** 💙📚

We know many of our patrons are having trouble with the **Libby app** after its recent system update. We have been getting lots of calls, so we wanted to share the steps you need to get back up and running! 📱📖

# # # 🔐 HOW TO GET BACK INTO LIBBY

If Libby is asking you to enter your library card information again:

**1️⃣ Enter your library card number**
Use your regular library card number when prompted.

**2️⃣ Enter your PIN**
👉 **Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library card number.**

**3️⃣ Your library card must be ACTIVE**
Your card must be active in our library system for Libby to verify your information and reconnect your account.

# # # ❗ STILL NOT WORKING?

If Libby continues to give you an error, your library card may need to be **renewed or reactivated in our library system.**

📞 **Please contact the library or stop by the library so we can check your card status.**

Once your card is active, you should be able to enter your card number and the last 4 digits of that number as your PIN and get back to enjoying your ebooks and audiobooks! 🎧📚

We had another wonderful time at Bingo, and we’re excited to celebrate our September Grand Prize Winner — congratulations! We hope you enjoy your prize!

The Millard Oakley Library will be closed on Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day holiday.
The Friends of the Library will meet this Thursday, August 20, at 4:30. This organization assists the library in so many ways, from purchasing new books, providing snacks for story time, teen night, and adult bingo, and holding a quarterly book sale. They are always looking for new members who are willing to help make our library great. Everyone is welcome to the meeting to come and see how much this organization helps our community.
Teen Night will be August 25, from 4:00 until 6:00. This month all Overton County teens ages 13 to 18 are welcome to come in and play bingo for prizes. Refreshments will be provided.
New books at the library include “Road Trip” by Mary Kay Andrews, “The Dead Ringer” by Dane Bahr, “The Greenhorn” by John Deacon, “Betrayal Road” and “Twisted Road” by Christine Feehan, “Love You More” by Emily Giffin, “Killing Moon” and “The Thirst” by Jo Nesbo, “Faithful of Heart” and “A Life So True” by Tracie Peterson, “Twisted Pawn” by L. J. Shen, and “The Prodigal Daughter” by Isabella Valeri.
