Due to Bear Activity at the Springdale solid waste collection site FWP has requested Park County temporarily remove the green boxes for both bear and human safety. Park County will be removing the boxes 8/28 and will return them once FWP feels it is safe to do so. We are also working to find other ways to reduce bear conflicts at the site similar to the electric fences seen at other collection sites throughout Park County.
