Southeastern Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
Eastern Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...
Southwestern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 621 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest
of Livingston, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Algood, Monterey, Clarkrange, Crawford, and
Rickman.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 290 and 304.

..STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT OVERTON...PICKETT...NORTHERN
SMITH...JACKSON...SUMNER...CLAY...MACON...TROUSDALE...NORTHWESTERN
PUTNAM AND FENTRESS COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 903 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Albany to
12 miles north of Red Boiling Springs to near Memphis Junction.
Movement was south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lafayette, Livingston, Carthage, Jamestown, Celina,
Gainesboro, Byrdstown, Hartsville, Hendersonville, White House,
Algood, Westmoreland, Cross Plains, Red Boiling Springs, Portland,
South Carthage, Allardt, Mitchellville, and Moss.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Southwestern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...
Southeastern Overton County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 352 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Allardt, Clarkrange and Grimsley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
