🚨Firefighter Spotlight🚨

Today’s firefighter spotlight brings us to Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Unit #12, Brandon Prescott. Brandon was born and raised here in Livingston and graduated Livingston High School. Brandon is a successful local business owner here in Livingston who joined the fire department on July 14, 2015 and has 9 years of dedicated service to this community.

At this time, the fire department has cleared the location. DPS, Polk County sheriffs office, allegiance EMS were on location and heavy duty wreckers were in route. 

Livingston Fire Department just arrived on location at a log truck rollover 146 S. just south of 2665. The roadway is completely blocked. Please avoid the area.

🚨Firefighter Spotlight🚨

Today’s firefighter spotlight brings us to Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Unit #11, Frank O’Neill.
Frank was raised here in Livingston and graduated Livingston High School. Frank worked at Little Beaver Equipment up until his retirement in 2018. Frank joined the fire department on January 1, 1967 and has 58 years of dedicated service to the department and this community!

Yesterday the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department had a team in the Hunter Williams Memorial Rag ball Tournament. We played hard and played against some great teams! Seven games later we secured the “B” bracket championship! Ended up 6 wins 1 loss for the day!!

Friday we attended a ceremony commemorating 50 years of service for the Alabama Coushatta Indian Nation Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Willo and their members do a fantastic job and are a great asset not only to their primary coverage area but all of Polk County.
