Park Conservation District

Park Conservation District The Park CD is a political subdivision of the state and is governed by a board of five supervisors elected by local voters in a general election.

The Park Conservation District administers the MT Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act (310 Permit) and supports the Upper Yellowstone & Shields Valley Watershed groups. The Park Conservation District is one of Montana’s 58 conservation districts (CDs) which utilize locally-led and largely non-regulatory approaches to successfully address general natural resource issues. CDs have a decades-

long history of conserving our state's resources by helping local people match their needs with technical and financial resources, thereby getting good conservation practices on the ground to the benefit of all Montanans. Park CD Board of Supervisors:
Gayleen Malone, chair
Martin Davis, vice-chair
Dave Haug
Daryl Stutterheim
Ned Zimmerman

Jessica Anderson, District Administrator/Watershed Coordinator
