LPD & LFD’s flag is flying at half-staff in honor and in memory of Tennessee’s Queen, Dolly Parton.

We were heartbroken to hear the news yesterday. Dolly touched countless lives throughout her incredible career—not only through her music and talent, but through her kindness, generosity, and love for the people of Tennessee and beyond.

Her legacy will live on for generations to come.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for giving the world so much. 🤍

Investing in Training, Investing in Our Community!

Officers Andrew Gonzales and Nate Pryor recently spent three days at the Lebanon Police Department Training Center completing the necessary schooling to become Field Training Officers (FTOs).

Becoming an FTO is an important step in developing our department and ensuring new officers receive quality, hands-on training from experienced personnel.

We are proud of Officers Gonzales and Pryor for taking the time to further their training and bring that knowledge back to the Livingston Police Department!

SaferWatch Notification – Livingston Academy

On August 21, 2026, the Livingston Police Department responded to Livingston Academy following a notification received through the SaferWatch App.

The School Resource Officer immediately advised over the radio that the notification appeared to be a false alarm. Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough check of the situation and confirmed that the notification was, in fact, a false alarm.

There was no threat to students or staff, and the incident was cleared without further issue.

The Livingston Police Department appreciates the continued use of safety and security resources designed to help protect our schools and community.
