The City of Livingston will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of the Labor Day.

This means Garbage routes will temporarily change. Trash will not be picked up on Monday, September 7. Monday's trash route will run on Tuesday, September 8th.

Mayor Burnett, who has served Livingston's residents as full-time mayor since 2024, has successfully earned certification as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer, adding a rigorous financial credential to an already demanding role.
The CMFO designation requires candidates to demonstrate mastery of municipal budgeting, public accounting standards and debt management. This reflects a broad commitment to fiscal responsibility in Livingston's government and strengthen the city's long-term budget planning.

We are trying to reach a goal of $15,000, which would allow us to save 100’s of more lives this year!
Jordan’s Way fundraisers are an exciting combination of a Jerry Lewis Telethon mixed with a Nickelodeon episode. Think: fun gimmicks and stunts like pie throwing, tortilla slaps, ice buckets, food challenges, and, of course, slime! They have also influenced thousands of adoptions by shedding a much needed happy light on rescue animals that often get overlooked and in our care for extended periods of time. It’s not just about raising much needed funds for their care, but being able to show their true personality with people they know & trust; sometimes they just need to be given a chance!
