The mission of the Livingston Police Department Animal Control Division is to ensure the well-being of both animals and residents of our community.

Please be aware that we do not have a local shelter. We are contracted with the Merced County Animal Shelter to house our impounded animals.

**FRIENDLY REMINDER**

THIS WEEKEND!!

On Sunday, May 17th, 2026, New Beginnings will be providing a FREE MICROCHIP and VACCINATION clinic for your pets (dogs and cats) here in Livingston from 9:30am to 12:30pm, at the Livingston-Hills Ferry Lodge at 1651 7th St, Livingston, Ca (corner of 7th St and Peach Ave). We are expecting warm weather this weekend. Water bowls and water will be provided. If you can please, bring water so your pets don’t overheat.

There is no limit to how many pets you can bring. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.

What will be given at the clinic:
• Microchip
• DHPP/DAPP and rabies for dogs.
• FVRCP and rabie for cats

MAKE NOTE!! New Beginnings will not provide services for other rescues or dog breeders.

This sweet girl was found in the area of Peach Ave and Sun Valley Ave. She appears to be injured and will be taken to the vet for medical evaluation. If she is yours, please call us at 209-394-7916.

This sweet little guy was found in the Monte Cristo Adult Community on Peach Ave. He does have a microchip but we weren’t able to get a hold of the owner. The people who found him are willing to hold on to him overnight. If he is yours, you can contact the people who have him directly at 209-276-6108.

This is Fiona. Fiona went missing. Fiona is a 3-4 year old Frenchie. Fiona went missing in the area of Park St and 8th St. Fiona may be wearing a pink collar. Fiona’s owners are looking for her. If you have seen Fiona or know where she is at, please call her owners at 209-752-2897.
