Currently have the left lane closed and it is at a standstill.

Northbound is being affected as well.

Tonight the Olive firefighters had training at the park. We practiced pump operations,drafting, master stream applications, tender operations, and using the jet siphon to move water between dump tanks.

If you are interested in joining the fire department please contact Chief Dale Hendricks at (618) 530-5347.

Our junior firefighter also participated in the training and got to learn these things as well! If you know someone who is 14-18 and would like to join please contact the program coordinator Deanne Busch at (618) 799-9581.

Congratulations to Norman Highlander (not pictured) and Tommy Royer (left) on their retirement!

Norman served 23 years and Tommy served 36. We are so greatful for the number of years you dedicated to your community. Thank you for all of your hard work and the knowledge you have spread to the younger generations.
