Ross Library Youth Services Summer program for all ages are also offered. We are a United Way Agency.

Youth Services at Ross Library seeks to enrich the community with quality programs including STEM and STEAM activities, books, computers, and space for tutoring, therapy, and play. Ross Children's Library's page hopes to inform, enlighten, and entertain families about opportunities available to promote literacy and lifetime learning to young people and the young at heart through your local public lbrary.

Are you feeling squirrely today? Join us at 10:30 a.m. for a fun squirrel storytime!

We will read Ol' Mama Squirrel and I Am a Good Friend, then using forks and paint we will make a fluffy squirrel tail. Don't worry there will be plenty of time to play and explore with your storytime friends!

We’re saying goodbye to an icon of literacy today.

Dolly Parton’s dedication to putting books into the hands of children through her Imagination Library has inspired generations of young readers. We know just how special the gift of a book can be and Dolly made that gift possible for millions of children.

Join us this week for a nutty storytime!

We will read Ol' Mama Squirrel and I Am a Good Friend. For our craft we will use forks and paint to make fluffy squirrel tails, then afterwards there will be plenty of time to explore and play in the Gould Room!

🌞What a summer it has been!🌞

We wrapped up our Summer Reading Program with an amazing Farewell to Summer Reading Party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate! From games and crafts to giant bubbles, face paint, glitter tattoos, chalk, and sweet treats, it was such a fun afternoon with our library families.

But the biggest reason this summer was so special? 180 amazing kids signed up for Summer Reading! We are so proud of every single one of them for spending their summer reading, exploring, learning, and discovering new stories.

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible community supporters who helped make this summer possible:

Addie's Inc. — for providing an incredible program for our library kiddos!

Come celebrate an AMAZING summer of reading with us from Noon–2:30 p.m. in the parking lot!

We’ll have:
🎨 A craft
🎯 Games
🫧 Bubble station with giant bubbles
🖍️ Chalk
🎨 Face painting & glitter tattoos by Whimsical Curiosities Face Painting
🍦 Buzzy’s Sweet Treats - Everything is FREE except for purchases from the ice cream truck!

We will be drawing our Summer Reading prize winners at 2 p.m. You do NOT have to be present to win—we’ll call the winners.

Come hang out, have some fun, and help us give summer reading a proper send-off! We can’t wait to see you!

Tomorrow is the big day!
Come celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program with us from Noon- 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot!

We’ll have lots of fun things to do, including:
🎨 A craft
🫧 A bubble station with GIANT bubbles
🖍️ Chalk
🎭 Face painting & glitter tattoos by: Whimsical Curiosities Face Painting
🎲 Games
🍦 Buzzy’s Sweet Treats

Everything is FREE except for anything you choose to purchase from the ice cream truck!

🏆 Prize winners will be pulled at 2 p.m.
You do NOT have to be present to win. I’ll call each winner next week if you are not here.

It’s been such an amazing summer, and I can’t wait to celebrate all of our library kids and the fun we’ve had together. Come hang out, play, get a little messy, and help us say goodbye to summer reading! 💚📚🦖

🌧️ Storytime in the Park Update! 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the weather, our last Storytime in the Park is canceled. We’re so sad to miss our final park storytime of the summer!

BUT, we don’t have to miss storytime altogether!
If you’re looking for something to do this morning, come join us at the library for storytime instead! 11 a.m. in the Gould Room. We’ll have stories, fun, and our usual storytime smiles waiting for you. 😊
