Tonight as your driving by you may notice the LED lights outside the bays have been changed from red to blue this is because we are praying for 12-year-old Xavier Taylor who was struck in the neck by a baseball during warmups at a field in Maple Shade, New Jersey. He collapsed and has remained unresponsive ever since. Xavier has been on life support at Cooper University Hospital in Camden since May 26.
His father, Greg, who is a retired firefighter, was on the field when the accident happened and has been a constant source of hope for his son. He has told crowds and supporters that Xavier loves this game and will play baseball again.
Tragically, the latest medical update has brought devastating news. Doctors have confirmed there is no brain activity. The family is now wrestling with the painful reality of what comes next, including the possibility of organ donation. Greg and his loved ones are currently in the hospital, facing one of the hardest moments of their lives while continuing to hold onto faith.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends who have been affected by this devastating tragedy. We hope for the best to come out of this situation.
