🌧️ 😢 Unfortunately, today's Pop-Up Pantry has been CANCELLED due to the forecasted weather. 🌩️ 😢

This is never a decision we make lightly. ❤️

Many people only see the two hours we're open, but behind the scenes our volunteers spend more than an hour loading, transporting, unloading, and setting up every table, tent, and food item from our storage location to Triangle Park before we can serve a single family. 🚚📦

More than half of the people we serve walk to the pantry, and Triangle Park offers very little protection from heavy rain or severe weather. ☔

Wet conditions don't just make it uncomfortable, it can damage food and hygiene items, ruin donated inventory, and create unsafe conditions for both our visitors and volunteers.

Every Sunday, our goal is simple: to make sure no one in our community goes without. 🫶

🏠Days like today are a reminder of why we're working so hard to secure a permanent home for the Clinton County Community Assembly. 🏡

A permanent location would allow us to serve our neighbors consistently—rain or shine. (Or snow) 🌞🌧️ ❄️

It would protect donated food, provide shelter for families waiting in line, and ensure that the weather never has to stand between our community and a meal. 🍎❤️

Your support through donations, volunteering, and fundraising is helping move us toward that goal. Every dollar, every can of food, and every hour volunteered brings us one step closer. 💙

Thank you for your understanding, your encouragement, and for believing in what we're building together. 🙏

Stay safe today, and we'll see you next Sunday! ❤️

Weather Update for Sunday's Pop-Up Pantry

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

We are closely monitoring tomorrow's weather forecast, as thunderstorms are currently expected during our scheduled pantry hours.

The safety of our visitors, volunteers, and donors is our top priority. We also need to protect the food and supplies that have been generously donated by the community.

If conditions are unfavorable, we may have to make a last-minute decision to delay, postpone, or cancel the pantry. We know this can be an inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding as we make the best decision based on the weather.

⛈️Please watch this page tomorrow morning for updates, if a cancellation is warranted we will post by 10:30 am. ⚡️

Thank you for your patience, and we hope everyone stays safe.

Just because our Pop Up Pantry events happen on Sundays doesn’t mean the work stops the rest of the week.

As we prepare for this Sunday’s distribution, we’ve been hunting down great sales on items we’re running low on — and some we’re completely out of. Since the pantry is 100% donation‑funded and volunteer‑run, we can only serve community members when other community members step up to help. 💵🥫

If you’ve ever wanted to contribute but weren’t sure what to buy… or if you’d like to make an impact while saving a little cash… this is the perfect opportunity. Every item donated directly supports a neighbor in need and keeps this pantry going strong.💪

Your generosity is what makes this possible. 💖

We're halfway through today's Pop-Up Food Pantry, and we're so grateful for the incredible support from our community. ❤️

As a donation-based organization, we simply cannot continue serving families in need without the generosity of those around us. Every dollar, every item donated, and every act of kindness helps us keep our shelves stocked and our doors open.

A very special thank you to It Is What It Is Sweet Shop, BagelBagel, and Loggerhead Swim Team for their exceedingly generous donations to this week's pantry. Your support allows us to reach more neighbors and make a bigger impact than ever before.

Together, we're proving that community takes care of community. 💙

P.S. there's still time, come and catch us before 2pm today at Triangle Park

✨ Since we have a lot of new eyes here, allow us to introduce ourselves!⭐️

Back in October 2025, dozens of community members came together for a forum because we were worried about the future of SNAP benefits and the growing food insecurity in our area. We kept asking ourselves one simple question:

"What can we do to help?"
The answer became our Sunday Pop-Up Pantry.

❤️ What started as a small idea, built entirely on love and compassion, has grown into something truly special. The CCCA wants to do more community outreach, but this is our main project at the moment!

🌻 Who are we?

We're just your neighbors.

We're volunteers who care. We show up every week. We ask our friends, family, and local businesses to donate so we can share those donations with our neighbors who need a little extra help.

Some of our visitors are retired. Some are working families. Some are facing unexpected hardships. Everyone has a story, and sometimes all someone needs is a little help getting through the week.

💛 Every Sunday from 12:00–2:00 PM at Triangle Park, you'll find us setting up tables, greeting familiar faces, making new friends, sharing a few laughs, listening, sweating in the summer heat, and doing our best to make sure everyone feels welcome and treated with dignity.

❓ A few questions we hear often...

🍎 Who can come?
Everyone. No referrals. No judgment. No questions asked.

🥫 What do you have?
A little bit of everything! Fresh produce when available, pantry staples, bread, snacks, hygiene items, pet food, and whatever generous donors have shared that week.

🙋 Can I help?
Absolutely! We are always looking for:
❤️ Food and hygiene donations
❤️ Financial donations
❤️ A few extra hands to help with setup and tear-down on Sundays

🎉 We also have exciting news...
We are now officially a nonprofit organization!

One thing that makes us a little different is that we don't have a traditional board of directors. Instead, we're made up of community members who work together and make decisions by consensus. We believe the best ideas come from people who genuinely care about their neighbors.

🌱 Our dream is just getting started.

We'd love to have a permanent space where we can expand what we offer—more food, more hygiene supplies, more programs, more connection, and more opportunities to bring our community together.

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of people who donate, volunteer, share our posts, or simply encourage what we're doing.

This isn't our pantry.

It's your community pantry.

Thank you for helping us prove that when neighbors come together, amazing things can happen. ❤️

Some weeks are kind of touch and go but we always manage to pull it together! We have the best group of volunteers that work through any challenge to help our community.

Please come say hi! We are at triangle park, as usual, and eager to see everyone!

The Salvation Army- Lock Haven, PA's More Than Bread program is cancelled this week, and we know many neighbors rely on those meals.

To help bridge the gap, the Clinton County Community Assembly will be collecting items to distribute at this Sunday’s Pop Up Pantry. We are asking for SEALED lunch meat, bread or rolls, and simple sides like pudding cups or small bags of chips.

If you’re able to donate, your support will help ensure no one goes without. Please bring physical donations to Triangle Park between 11am and 12pm on Sunday, July 19th or submit a monetary donation via our Venmo -Donations!

Thank you, as always, for showing up for our community.
