As of yesterday, school is officially out for the summer.

For many families, that means more time together—but it also means one more meal (or more) every single day that parents now have to provide at home instead of relying on school breakfasts and lunches.

For families already struggling, this added burden can be overwhelming.

That’s where our Pop-Up Pantry comes in. 💛
We are working hard to make sure no child in our community goes without food—but we can’t do it without your help.

👉 We are in urgent need of donations to keep our shelves stocked and support local families through the summer months.

Every can, every box, every dollar makes a difference.

📦 Donate food- on persin at Avenue Coffee, Northwest Bank in Walmart, or at our pop up pantry event on Sundays 〰️ or virtually through our Amazon wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2UJMSY5D4GSX0?ref_=wl_share

💵 Make a monetary donation- message us for venmo information

🤝 Share this post to spread the word

Together, we can help ease the stress for families and make sure kids in our community stay fed all summer long.

✨ New Line System Starting Next Sunday ✨
❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

To promote fairness and make sure we’re meeting everyone’s needs—not just those who arrive early—we’re introducing a new system.

Beginning next Sunday, visitors will draw a number at 12:00 PM to determine their place in line.

🟣Numbers will be called to guide you through the process smoothly and efficiently.

This approach will also help us better track and serve the number of families in our community.

💫 Please note: Arriving early will not provide any advantage, as numbers will be drawn randomly.

‼️ Early lineups are strongly discouraged ‼️

Thank you for helping us create a more fair and organized experience for everyone! 💛

What a beautiful day to be with friends and family helping our community!

Please come get what you need for the week. We are across the street from Triangle Park again today.

We continue to see increasing numbers of families that are struggling in Clinton County. We operate solely on donations from our community and every little bit helps. If you are able to give anything at all remember that it ALL stays in the County.

There are many ways to donate. We have boxes at Avenue Coffee, Weis in Mill Hall, Northwest Bank in WalMart, and at City Hall! If you would like to make monetary donations, please reach out to us on messenger or via our email!

World Hunger Day calls us to awareness — and to action.

Here in Clinton County, many families quietly struggle to keep food on the table. According to the USDA Economic Research Service, food‑at‑home prices have risen steadily from 2020 through 2025, as shown in their national food price index data and monthly price tracking.

For families already stretched thin, even gradual increases add up quickly. A typical family of four needs roughly 12–16 pounds of food per day to cover three balanced meals (an estimate based on USDA meal‑pattern weights and average household consumption).

That means a family may need 350–450 pounds of food each month just to meet basic nutritional needs — a heavy lift when prices rise faster than wages.

Our Pop Up Pantry exists to make sure no one has to face that struggle alone. Every can, every box, every shared post, every volunteer hour helps us reach more neighbors with respect and care.

If you’d like to support the pantry, donate, volunteer, or simply help spread the word, today is a meaningful day to do it.

☀️ Another 50+ community members served this sunny Sunday!
Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered—your support is the reason this organization continues to thrive.

As a reminder, the CCCA’s Pop Up Pantry is 100% volunteer‑run and community‑funded. We do not receive any local, state, or government assistance. Every table we fill and every neighbor we help is made possible because you step up—through monetary donations, item donations, and volunteer time.

📸 Pictured here is what we were able to offer today.
By 2 PM, our tables were completely bare. To keep serving families each week, we rely on ongoing support from our friends and neighbors.

🛒 Donation Drop‑Off Locations:
• Northwest Bank inside the Mill Hall Walmart
• Sons of Italy
• Weis Market in Mill Hall
• Avenue 209 (during business hours)
• Or bring items directly to the Pop Up Pantry during our Sunday event

💻 Prefer to donate online?
You can also send items straight to us through our Amazon Wishlist—no trip to the store needed.
