Official Trick-or-Treat Clarification

Several local media outlets have recently circulated incorrect dates regarding Trick-or-Treat. To prevent confusion, Hamilton Township confirms that official Trick-or-Treat activities will strictly follow the regional guidelines established by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and will take place on Thursday, October 29 from 6PM-8PM.

Please help us spread the word! 🎃 We encourage everyone to share this information with friends, family, and neighbors so our community has the correct Trick-or-Treat information. Thank you for helping us clear up the confusion and make sure everyone is ready for a fun evening!

October 1-7 is Stormwater Awareness Week!

Cleaner creeks start with small actions close to home. Rain can carry litter, pet waste, and other pollution into our storm drains and local waterways, including Big Walnut Creek.

Picking up litter, scooping pet waste, and planting native plants are simple ways we can all help protect our water.

Let’s show our local creeks some love this week!

Hamilton Township Park Cleanup Day has been moved to this Sunday, September 27 at 10:00 a.m. Volunteer your time to help clean up Hamilton Township Park!

There will be different ways to lend a hand - wade in, float along, or walk the park and help clean up.

📢 Mosquito Spraying - Hamilton Township

Hamilton Township is scheduled for mosquito spraying on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, starting at 8:30pm, as part of the county's Mosquito Management Program.

The planned area covers Hamilton Meadows and surrounding sections near SR-23 and SR-317 (see map link below to check if your street is included).

Quick reminders: pets are safe outside but can be brought in if preferred, cover fishponds, bring in laundry before spraying, and wash garden produce as usual. If you see the spray truck, don't approach it - the driver will pause spraying to let you pass safely.
