STAAR Information

📢 Lockney ISD Families – STAAR Results Coming Soon! 📢

The Texas Education Agency will release Spring 2026 STAAR and EOC results through the Texas Assessment Family Portal.

📅 Release Dates
✅ June 10 – High School EOC Results Available
✅ June 16 – Grades 3–8 STAAR Results Available

Parents can access their child’s results by visiting the Texas Assessment Family Portal at TexasAssessment.gov or by scanning the QR code on the flyer below.

📊 Your child’s score report will provide:
• STAAR performance levels
• Strengths and areas for growth
• Personalized resources to support learning at home

I’m excited to share I’ll be our campuses new Curriculum Coach as well as our Gifted and Talented (GT) teacher this coming school year. Being in the classroom has always brought me so much joy, I’m sure I’ll be back one day. But for now, I’m excited to work side by side our amazing teachers, as well as lead our GT learners.

I am thankful for the opportunity to serve our school community in this new capacity and can’t wait to see what the upcoming year has in store.

Level up? Don't mind if I do. 🎮✨

Grade level up, activated!
Year before last, I sent a group of my kiddos off to 1st grade. This year, I’m being “recycled” 🤭 into 2nd Grade Math and Science.
I’m definitely “counting” my blessings as another adventure begins with kids I already know and love! I can't wait to explore, discover, problem-solve, and grow alongside both familiar and new faces this year.
Here’s to being rooted in learning AND growing together!

Changes happening at LES.

I'm excited to share that this coming school year I'll be transitioning from teaching 4th and 5th Grade Reading Language Arts to teaching 4th Grade RLA and Social Studies at LES!

While I'll miss working with my 5th graders, I'm looking forward to focusing on 4th grade and helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I'm grateful for the opportunity to take on this new role and can't wait to see what the new school year brings!

A note from Mr. Snook:
Howdy! I’m Will Snook and I’m so excited to join the team at Lockney Elementary. This will be my ninth year in education. I love math. I know some of you rolled your eyes and got sick to your stomach. I love math, because the rules never change. In our classroom we learn “Mathanese,” (Math is its own language and I can’t take credit for that statement, my wife is a high school math teacher). There is nothing better in the classroom when you see a concept click for a student and watch their confidence in their abilities grow.

When I’m not “Mathing” I enjoy woodworking, drinking coffee, fighting weeds in my yard, drinking coffee, and hanging with my furry girls Leia (yes, that one), and Judy. Yes, while drinking coffee.

Hey Longhorns! I'm Kaci Lee, a native of Plainview and an alumni of Wayland... Go Pioneers! I come from a family of educators and am so blessed to get to work my dream job everyday. As a veteran of 23 years, my favorite things to do in the classroom are to dig into a good story and reveal the unique history and heroes that have shaped our amazing country. The best part of my job is watching students overcome obstacles and grow into life-long learners. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, baking, going to concerts, traveling, and sipping on a coconut tea. I can't wait to join the Lockney Elementary learning community and meet you!

I am excited to join Lockney ISD and begin this new chapter in kindergarten education. I have taught in Plainview for the past five and a half years, and I am grateful for the experiences and relationships that have helped shape me as an educator. I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive classroom where young learners feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop a love of learning. My goal is to help each child learn, grow, and thrive while building confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for future success.
